STILL POINT STUDIO PAINTINGS

This exhibition of paintings derived its imagery from the subject and nature of painting itself. Artifice and reality, materiality and illusion were highlighted. Large paintings which seemed to depict collaged photographs of studios pasted onto translucent canvases alongside trompe l’oeil depictions of constructions built upon the backs of painted canvases and canvas frames.
