NATURE MORTE, PEINTRE MORT

This exhibition featured a number of still lives either arranged with African fetish figures or constructions which as fetish figures in their own right. All were all painted observationally in the studio and the majority are painted with a subdued palette. Alongside these works a number of drawings were shown. These featured anonymous vintage photographs and intertwined hair rendered with charcoal and pencil on vellum.
